| God, Jesus, Trinity? .. What is it? ..
Peace on you ..
Today I will give you a light on this subject .. What is written? .. What God teaches us? .. Who is God? .. Is Jesus God? .. is God a Trinity? ..
This topic is important because we need to give God His place, His greatness, His power, His glory, His authority .. And, in fact, when you replace God with an idol, then you offend God, so when you equal God, because God is unique and incomparable ..
Man is made up of: a body of a soul a spirit ..
God Himself is Spirit .. God is not hardware or carnal, nor created .. We can in no case fathom His greatness, or imagine God, His likeness .. God is like the wind, we can not see Him.. our carnal nature prevents us to see Him .. Our sins keep us from seeing Him ..
1 John 3:2 Beloved, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been revealed; but we know that when he shall appear, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God
In this passage we read that God is One ..: because we shall see Him as He is ... It is not written plural .. We shall see God, after the millennium, when all will be accomplished when we have covered our spiritual being .. Angels surround us and protect us every moment of our day, yet we can not see them ..
We will read a few verses before coming to Jesus .. Here are the first three commandments, we read in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 ..
1 / You shall have no other gods before Me. 2 / Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of what is in heaven above, and what is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth .dropoff window You shall not bow thyself to them, and you serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the son, the third and fourth [generation] of those who hate Me, And kindness to thousands of those who love Me and keep My commandments. 3 / You shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain.
Again, we read of the commandments in the singular .. And reading the Bible, we always will read: I the LORD .., I'm the same, etc .., always written in the singular .. God has many names, such as: Jah, Jahweh, Jehowah, Elohim, Adonai, etc .. because these names represent characters of God .. The eternal God, the merciful God, the God who forgives, the God who saves, etc ..
Let us now Genesis ..
Genesis 1: 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 3 And God said, .. etc ..
Again we read sentences in the singular, except in one passage:
Genesis 1: 26 And God said, Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. 27 So God created man in His image; He created in the image of God; He created them male and female.
This passage is written in the plural, because God speaks to the angels, elected officials, to Jesus .. this passage could be replaced by, Let us make man in the image of God and the angels, like spiritual beings. . Let us understand that God does not live alone in the sky, and it is through this passage that we know as we are like the angels of heaven, and God .. We are carnal, they are spiritual ..
Genesis 1: 3 And God said, .. 4 And God saw the light,
Psalms 11:5 The LORD examines the righteous; He hates the wicked and him that loveth violence.
Psalms 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Test me and know my thoughts!
Psalms 22:24 For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, and He has not hidden His face from him; But He listens when he cried to Him.
We just read some functions of God .. He speaks, He sees, He searches, He listens, etc ..
Jesus .. what about Jesus? .. Is he God? ..
First, we understand that Jesus can not be God, because Jesus is a carnal being, born of a woman .. And again, Jesus died on the cross, then ressussité but death at first, and God can not die .. do not be guided by false doctrines that offend God .. We can not nail God nor the bleeding .. God is Spirit ..
Luke 23:46 Jesus cried with a loud voice, 'Father, I commend my spirit into Your hands. And having said this, he breathed.
Again, just in that sentence we read that Jesus speaks to a third party .. Father, I commend my spirit into your hands ..
If Jesus was God, so he could not say that sentence .. Read some other verses where Jesus speaks to the Father, of the Father:
Matthew 5: 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 45 so that you are son of your Father who is in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 48 Be ye therefore perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
If Jesus was God, he would say:
Verse 16: so they glorify Me .. Verse 45: so that you are My son .. Verse 48: as I am perfect ..
Matthew 10:32 Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven;
Matthew 12:50 For whoever does the will of my Father who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
John 14:24 He who does not love me does not keep my words. And the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father who sent me.
John 5:23 that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.
John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, you would love me, for it is God that I came out and have come; I have not come of myself, but it is He who sent me.
John 16:27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came out from God.
We read in these verses, God sent Jesus, whom God put His words in the mouth of Jesus .. As we read that Jesus came from God .. As stated, the Father sent me..
We still have to Psalm 22, where Jesus speaks to God for help:
Psalm 22: 1 My God! my God! why hast thou forsaken me, Te taking away from my salvation - the words of my roaring? 2 O my God! I cry by day, but You do not answer the point; and night, and there is no rest for me. 3 And You, You are holy, you who dwell amid the praises of Israel. 8 He trusted on the Lord that He make escape, He delivers it, for He takes His pleasure in it! 9 But it was you who took me out of the womb that bore me; You gave me confidence in my mother's breasts. 10 It's You that I was delivered from the womb; You are my God from my mother's womb .. Etc ..
John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father; for the Father is greater than I am.
Or, that the Holy Spirit is sent by God:
John 15:26 When the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me;
God put them available to save our souls, but also to lead us, to teach us, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, but also the prophets, as they spoke in the name of God, each at his level, chosit each for a specific task ..
John 14:26 But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have told you.
The Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, ..because this Spirit sent to us at our baptism, and also that we are looking to grow up to be men did .. It is this Spirit that enables us to know God ..
Continuing, we read that Jesus returns to the Father ..
John 16:27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came out from God.
John 13:3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, he had come from God, and went to God,
John 16: 17 Whereupon some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us a little time, and you will not see me; and again a little while, and you will see me? and, Because I go to the Father? 28 I came from the Father, and am come into the world; Now I leave the world and go to the Father.
John 20:17 Jesus said to her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father. But go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word for it, that comes out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall My will and accomplished my designs.
1 Corinthians 15: 27 For God has put all things under his feet (of Jesus). But when he says that everything has been submitted, it is clear that the One who subjected all things to him is excepted (God). 28 And when all things are subjected to him (Jesus), then the Son himself will be subjected to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all in all.
Now consider the verses where Jesus and the Father are one, and understand ..
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 8:19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father.
John 10: 30 I and the Father are one. 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I in the Father.
John 14: 7 If you had known me, you would know my Father. And from henceforth ye know him, and you have seen Him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus said to him: There are so long that I am with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself; but the Father that dwelleth in me, He doeth the works. 11 Believe me, I am in the Father and the Father is in me; else believe because of the works. 23 Jesus answered him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love We will come to him and make our home with him.
John 3:23 He who hates me hates my Father.
John 4:15 All that the Father has is mine; that is why I said that He takes of what is mine, and He to you.
John 17: 5 And now you, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was. 11 I am no more in the world, and they are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as we. 21 That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that You sent Me. 24 Father, I will that where I am, those whom Thou hast given me, be with me, that they may see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
How do we understand what we just read, at first, Jesus speaks of the Father, then, Jesus and the Father are one? ..
Already there is a dimension beyond us, because Jesus was begotten by God .. So he had a superior deity to ours, as a being carnal .. But he remains a man, carnal, with blood in the veins, and Jesus speaks of his heavenly Father .. God .. Jesus is a carnal being, born of a carnal woman, but we know that God gives us an example in the flesh or in the physical, to make us understand the spiritual ..
We understand this process, contact:
The Hebrew esclavent in Egypt (us in the world, slaves of sin, babylon) The Hebrew who spend jourdain (we who are baptized) Noah's flood (only the elect are saved by baptism) Sodom and Gomorrah (destroyed pervert) Etc .. and Jesus, son of the flesh and the Spirit, like us after our baptism, we are new creatures, born of the flesh and the Spirit ..
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he can not enter the kingdom of God.
Romans 8:29 For those He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that His Son would be the firstborn among many brethren.
1 Corinthians 3:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven.
Why Jesus says:
John 14:9 ..This one has seen me has seen the Father;
There has this resemblance, made in the image of God, as a Man, but there especially the Spirit of God that was in Jesus. As we could understand through the names that represent characters, Jesus represented God, His character, His love for Men, when forgiveness of sins, and His mercy infinit ..
We read in Isaiah:
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel (God with us)
But Jesus did not actually called Emmanuel (God with us), but Yehosuwah (God saves) .. God dwelt in the body of Jesus, even as He lives in us .. His Spirit dwells in us, and His Spirit gives us God's words in the mouth:
Romans 8: 9 But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwells in you. If anyone has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you ..
Matthew 10: 19 But when they deliver you up, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you say, what you have to say will be given you in that hour; 20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
Jesus' miracles are what God does for us .. All healings that Jesus performed, he laid them by God, to us ..
Matthew 11:5 The blind receive their sight and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the gospel is preached to the poor.
When Jesus gave sight to a blind man, it means that God allows you to see Him, to know Him, to reach him .. You who earlier stages was an enemy of God, you who do not know the, you now have the opportunity to see and understand the spiritual world .. God has opened my eyes to know Him .. These eyes are the eyes of your mind ..
Act 9: 17 And Ananias went and entered the house; and putting his hands on, he said, Saul, brother, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road by which you came, has sent me that you may regain your sight and you're filled with the Spirit Saint. 18 And immediately there fell from his eyes something like scales; and he received his sight; 19 and he arose and was baptized; and having eaten, he regained his strength. And he was certain days with the disciples who were at Damas;
Matthew 3:16 And Jesus was baptized, he went out of the water. And, behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.
Luke 18: 41 What do you want me to do? And he said, Lord, that I may see. 42 Jesus said to him, Receive your sight; your faith has healed you. 43 And immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God. And all the people saw it, gave praise to God.
You have been ill with an incurable disease, and God has healed, that you glorify Him ..
Luke 5: 24 But that you may know that the son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins, (he said to the paralytic), I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, go home .dropoff window 25 And immediately he rose up before them, he took up that whereon he lay, and went into his house, glorifying God. 26 And they were all amazed, and glorified God; and they were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things today.
Raise the dead .. Because we were dead because of sin, and Jesus gives us life (born again John 3)
John 5:21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he will.
All the miracles we have seen, made by Jesus, is to make us understand that God is not limited when the difficulty of the problem, to save you ..
Now let's understand why the verses that Jesus equal to God, should not be interpreted as Jesus is God .. As the following verse:
John 10:30 I and the Father are one.
Could be understood in this verse that Jesus is God, but continue our reading ..
John 2:20 in that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
We read in verse 11: that they may be one as we. 21 That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You, that they also may be in us,
Do I understand that I am God? .. Because if Jesus is God, then I am also .. The so called by the previous verses ..
But we must understand something else, something wonderful ..
Jesus is the head of a body
Colossians 1:18 He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, in order to be first of all.
We are the church finally elected officials are the Church .. And just as Jesus was with the Father before the foundation of the world, were elected with the Father before the foundation of the world ..
Romans 8:29 For those He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that His Son would be the firstborn among many brethren.
John 6: 37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and I will not cast out anyone who comes to me; 44 No man can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.
John 10: 2 But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep 3 him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; he calls by name the sheep that belong to him, and he leads them out. 4 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice. 7 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 16 And I have other sheep that are not of this fold; these, I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one flock, one shepherd. 27 My sheep hear my voice; I know them, and they follow me.
Elected officials have the seal of God, they are untouchable, indestructible, they are created to testify to the power of God to witness that God exists:
Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, they will show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
As Jesus came to speak of the Father, and the elected .. As Jesus came from the Father, elected officials are out of the Father .. As Jesus speaks the words of the Father, elected officials say the words of the Father .. Everything Jesus did, elected officials can do it, and do ..
John 14:12 Verily, verily, I say to you, he who believes in me will do the works that I do, and he will do even greater, because I am going to the Father;
As Jesus returned to the Father, elected return to the Father:
John 17:24 Father, I will that where I am, those whom Thou hast given me, be with me,
God encompasses all .. He takes what is His, and puts it to us ..
Psalms 77:15 For thy arm thou hast redeemed thy people, the son of Jacob and Joseph.
Isaiah 40:10 Behold, the Lord GOD comes with might, and His arm He commands; Behold, his reward is with Him, and His work before Him.
Isaiah 51:5 My righteousness is near, My salvation is gone forth, and My arms shall judge the peoples; The isles shall wait on Me, they shall trust in my arms.
Isaiah 53: 1 Who has believed our report? Who recognized the Lord's arms? 2 It will mount before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He hath no form nor comeliness; when we see it, there is no appearance in it to make us poor. 3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and knowing what it is that languor, and as someone who is hiding his face; he despised, and we had esteemed him not. 4 Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; and we, we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted; 5 but he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Etc ..
John 16:27 for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved me and have believed that I came out from God.
John 14: 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, I will love, and I will manifest myself to him.
1 John 3:24 He that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in God, and God in him; and we know that He abides in us by the Spirit that He gave us.
Good meditation .. God bless you to understand .. | |
